Frustrating

Starting State Cup so early in the year was a very dangerous idea that backfired.  Minneosta does not have nice spring weather and this year has been worse than usual causing MYSA to have to reschedule numerous days of the tournament. 

The Semi Finals for all age groups have now been pushed back to this coming Sunday.  The second the schedules came out I saw that my U12's and  our U15's that I coach with Eric Singer have both been scheduled to play at 9:30am.  I noticed that the other U15 semi final was scheduled to be played at 12:00pm so we immediately tried to contact MYSA but could not reach them via phone so we emailed them asking if the two games could be switched.  Their answer.  No we cannot reschedule games.  Aren't all of these games reschedules?

I understand that it may be a slippery slope with rescheduling games but if their current schedule stays intact (U15 Semi Final at 9:30am and U15 Semi Final at 12:00pm) and all the teams are ok with the switch why can't this be done? 

Oh well, I'll just have to get text updates throughout the 12's game on how the 15's are doing.  I just hope that if both teams make the final we will be able to play at different times.
