Youth hockey in Sweden is about development and fun; not about winning. It’s not about one group of parents competing with those from across town. There is a coordinated plan for all ages, prepared by a national staff of hockey experts — Hedberg being one of the leaders — and coaches understand their mission.

The flu and other illnesses are going around so we were missing the majority of the girls today. I decided to scrap the defending session and have them work on some small touches and dribbling.
We then played 1v1 Knock the Ball Off The Cone

We finished with a bunch of 3v3 scrimmages with games up to 3. Switching teams each game.
